SVP Professional polyurethane glazing adhesive

Description:

This is a premium, single-component polyurethane adhesive specially formulated for bonding and sealing windscreens, rear windows and side windows of cars. It has a very high bonding strength and excellent elasticity, ensuring the strength of the body structure and the safety of the occupants. The adhesive is resistant to vibration, temperature fluctuations and moisture, forming a reliable and durable barrier.

Key features:

  • Maximum adhesion: adheres strongly to glass, primer and painted body surfaces.
  • High elasticity: absorbs body deformation and vibrations on rough roads.
  • Fast fixation: thanks to the optimum curing time, the adhesive prevents the glass from sliding during installation.
  • Environmental resistance: does not change with exposure to UV rays, water or salts.

Usage:

Thoroughly clean and degrease the bonding surfaces (glass and body frame). If specified by the manufacturer, use a special primer to improve adhesion. Using a hand or pneumatic gun, squeeze the adhesive in an even triangular strip on the edge of the glass or body frame. Place the glass in position and press lightly to ensure even contact. Avoid: Do not wash the car with a high-pressure jet and avoid sudden body rotations for at least 24 hours after bonding.

Benefits:

  • Safety first: Ensures that the windscreen stays in place even when the airbags deploy.
  • Factory quality: achieve the same level of tightness and strength as when the car was assembled in the factory.
  • No leaks: forget wind whistling or moisture seeping into the cabin – SVP adhesive fills in all the imperfections.
  • Durability: the polyurethane base is ageless and does not crack over many years.

Technical information:

  • Weight/volume: 300 g (standard tube).
  • Type: single-component polyurethane.
  • Purpose: Installation of car windscreens, bonding of body parts.
  • Recommendation: work at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. The recommended “standstill” time for the car after application is between 2 and 6 hours (depending on humidity).
